HRD minister Pokhriyal to host webinar for students, parents on May 5 at noon

The union minister for human resources development, Ramesh Pokhriyal  will go live tomorrow (May 5) at 12 noon to answer queries from students and parents on a wide of issues arisen from COVID 19 pandemic and its effect on education system.

In a tweet he said, “Please Join me on 5th May at 12 noon! Till then keep sharing your concerns with me using #EducationMinisterGoesLive. I will be happy to address all your queries !”  The webinar will be accessible  via hisTwitter(@DrRPNishank ) & Facebook (@cmnishank) pages.

Apart from pending examinations, the issue of fee and digital divide are likely to dominate the webinar. Parents would be eager to know more about admissions and continuing education. “It is a good initiative by  the ministry and minister going live will provide a lot of people to clear their doubts and develop an understanding on how government is proceeding in supporting and continuing education in the country,” said one expert.

Meanwhile AICTE today commenced  its Digital Knowledge Series 2020. The one and a half hour daily webinars by experts from 10-am 10 11.30 am will continue from May 4 to May 8.
