College Board has officially opened registrations for the upcoming SAT testing cycle and announced key SAT dates for exams scheduled between August 2026 and June 2027. The August 22, 2026 SAT marks the beginning of a crucial application season for students preparing early decision and international university applications. SAT scores are accepted by over 4,000 universities and institutions globally and are used as part of admissions processes to help students demonstrate academic preparedness across diverse education systems.

At College Board, we remain committed to supporting students through accessible and student-focused testing solutions.”
Students who require a device for the digital SAT are advised to request one at least 30 days before their selected test date. Through the College Board Device Lending Program, eligible students can borrow a device to ensure access to testing.
In India, eligible students can also benefit from fee support initiatives aimed at reducing financial barriers for students from low-income backgrounds.
To support student readiness, College Board offers free, official SAT preparation through Khan Academy, free peer-to-peer tutoring through Schoolhouse.world, and full-length digital practice tests through the Bluebook™ app.
