Avery Dennison Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Avery Dennison Corporation on Aug 27 felicitated the winners of the 9th edition of its annual scholarship program ‘Spirit of Invention’ (InvEnt). Fifteen (15) scholars with a scholarship of US$ 1300 each were awarded in the virtual award ceremony. These students are studying in the fields of science, engineering & technology from five institutions.
Since 2012, Avery Dennison Foundation in association with Institute of International Education (IIE), honours 10-15 Indian students belonging to 5 premier institutes with scholarship to encourage and support leadership & innovation development amongst them. These students also get an opportunity to participate in a special workshop on invention & innovation conducted by the Avery Dennison Foundation.
The five institutes that participated include:
- Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
- BITS pilani
- National Institute of Technology, Trichy
- MKSSS Cummins College of Women
- Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)
The winners under the Avery Dennison Foundation Spirit of Invention (InvEnt) Scholarship Programme are selected through a merit-based, rigorous three-stage selection process.
