
LEAD Group, a leading School Edtech company in school education, on 31 January announced the winners of its National Championships 2024, after an exciting grand finale was held in Delhi among 50 finalists. The winners took home exciting prizes worth Rs. 10 lakhs, including laptops, tablets, trophies, and merchandise. In addition, Zonal Winners were also declared, ensuring recognition at every stage.

This was the 6th edition of National Championships, and largest ever, which attracted over 1.9 lakh students from LEAP’s 800+ partner schools from all over India to register. This multi-contest competition by LEAD Group serves as a platform for students from India’s small towns and underserved regions to showcase their talent, creativity and confidence on a grand stage and moves from region to zonal and then national level over about six months. Also, this year, the Championships introduced an expanded vision for student development, focusing on NCF-aligned 21st-century skills such as Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Confidence, and Coding.
The National Championships 2024 was open to students from pre-primary to Class 9. The L’il Champs category (Nursery – Class 2) in the National Championships 2024 helped young learners build confidence, creativity, and speaking skills. Speech Champs (Junior: Classes 3-5; Senior: Classes 6-9) focused on content mastery, pronunciation, and eloquence, enabling students to articulate their ideas effectively. Coding Champs (Junior: Classes 3-5) encouraged teamwork, technical skills, and creativity through app development and problem-solving challenges. Spelling Champs (Junior: Classes 3-5; Senior: Classes 6-9) enhanced students’ grasp of the English language, boosting vocabulary and linguistic precision. Lastly, English Quiz Champs (Junior: Classes 3-5; Senior: Classes 6-9) promoted critical thinking, communication skills, and knowledge across diverse topics, ensuring holistic development for young minds.
