Vidya Bharati Purv Chhatra Parishad (North-East Region) will organize Purv Chhatra Sangam 2025, a grand convention of alumni from Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Saraswati Vidya Mandir—part of a nationwide network of over 12,000 schools—on December 7 in the national capital.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, programme coordinator Santosh Gupta announced that the historic gathering is expected to bring together more than 1,000 alumni from Jharkhand and Bihar. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the event as the chief guest.
Dr. Krishna Gopal, senior RSS functionary, will address the alumni as a keynote speaker, while Vidya Bharati national secretary (organization) Govind Chand Mahant will be present as the guest of honour.
Gupta emphasized that alumni are the “accumulated investment of any institution” and said the event is not just a reunion but an effort to reignite the values of nationalism, culture, discipline, service, and character-building in schools, society, and the nation.
