Swarna Medhavi Global Skills University to be set up in Andhra Pradesh

Medhavi Foundation, the sponsoring body of Medhavi Skills University (MSU), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to set up the Swarna Medhavi Global Skills University. This initiative will contribute to the “Swarnandhra @ 2047” vision of transforming Andhra Pradesh into a trillion-dollar economy.
The MoU was formalised during the 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam. Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Founder & Director of Medhavi Foundation and Chancellor of MSU, signed the agreement with Mr. Bharat Gupta, IAS, Director, Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Kona Sasidhar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department; Mr. G. Ganesh Kumar, IAS, MD & CEO, APSSDC; Mr. K.V. Satyanarayana, Chairman, Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), and Mr. Saurabh Mishra, Vice President, Medhavi Skills University.
The proposed university will be developed across a green-field campus in Visakhapatnam. It will offer industry-driven undergraduate, postgraduate, and skill-based programmes across high-growth sectors such as electronics, computer science, renewable energy, maritime and logistics, manufacturing, and emerging advanced technologies.
In the coming months, Medhavi Foundation and the Department of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh, will work together to implement the objectives outlined in the MoU.
