The broad and extensive platform provided by Techkriti, which includes a summit, will enable the young generation to learn and explore the facets of the current technological developments

Industry 4.0 (industrial revolution) is markedly different from the three industrial revolutions that preceded it because it is built upon the confluence of the physical and the digital realms. Techkriti brings you a glimpse of the fourth industrial revolution. Industry 4.0 comprises four components namely, cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things, cloud computing and cognitive computing forming a ‘smart factory’. Cyber-physical system is the orchestration of computation, networking and physical processes. The behaviour of the system is defined by both cyber and physical entities of the system and the collaboration between the two via feedback loops. Applications of cyberphysical system include automotive systems, medicine, traffic control and power generation and distribution among others. Internet of Things (IoT) is a computational concept which describes the idea of everyday physical objects being connected to the internet and being able to identify themselves to other objects. Its use is set to skyrocket with both businesses and consumers adapting this smart technology on a massive scale. Cloud computing is the current all-pervasive technological architecture which means storing and accessing data and programs over the Internet instead of one’s computer hard drive. Cognitive computing is being increasingly used to simulate human thought processes in a computerized model or simply put, mimic the way our brain works. And then comes the biggest dream of the human-computer intertwining, the notion of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

And to celebrate the herald of this groundbreaking technological revolution, we at Techkriti’19 bring to you the unprecedented technical summit with the theme: Industry 4.0, for the first time in India. It will be the most promising technical extravaganza spread over three days of exclusive workshops, talks and panel discussions with various pre-eminent personalities on the four central concepts of Industry 4.0.

Talks from the tech-giants namely Shailendra Kumar (Vice President Chief Evangelist, Sap Labs), Rahul Tyagi (Co-Founder, Lucideus), Utpal Chakraborty (HEAD Artificial Intelligence, Yes Bank), Amol Kodag (Engineering Leader, EATON India), Anjali Joshi(Vice President, Product Management, Google Inc.) are truly going to be enlightening with a surge of knowledge on Industry 4.O.

Workshops will exponentiate the knowledge foundations on Industry 4.O namely Deep Visual Learning from MathWorks, Blockchain from HSBC, Cloud Computing from NetApp and many more.

The broad and extensive platform provided by Techkriti will enable the young generation to learn and explore the facets of the current technological developments. So come and be a part of the most inspiring spectacle the tech-revamp has to offer on the 8th, 9th and 10th of March, 2019!
