The Himalayan School, a fully online international school (Grades 1–12) has announced the opening of its first hybrid campus in Bahrain in partnership with The Kuliah Academy.
The opening of the campus in Bahrain introduces a new educational paradigm to the area. Students will benefit from the ease of interactive online courses backed by abundant digital resources, as well as workshops, labs, and cultural events held on-site to enhance their practical knowledge and exposure to other cultures.
Speaking on this milestone, Sharmin Habib, Head of Business at The Himalayan School, said, “This expansion to Bahrain is more than a geographical step forward, it is a reaffirmation of our vision for borderless education. We already have a significant global presence, so we are aware of the goals of contemporary students who want flexibility, a global perspective, and hands-on experience. By fusing top-notch digital learning with relevant, hands-on experiences that equip students for postsecondary education and future careers, the hybrid model we are introducing to Bahrain offers the best of both worlds.”
The Himalayan School is already caters to a diverse community, with international students from South Africa, the Netherlands, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Serbia making up nearly 30% of its student body. This multicultural ecosystem is further strengthened by the Bahrain expansion, which gives Gulf students the opportunity to become part of a global learning community bound together by excellence and innovation.
