The University of Liverpool has announced the location of its new Bengaluru campus as Alembic City, one of the city’s most vibrant developments for education, research, and innovation.
Scheduled to open in 2026, the campus will provide a state-of-the-art, 360-degree new learning environment for the University’s first cohort of students in Bengaluru. Smart classrooms will support experiential engagement, case-based teaching, and flipped classroom methods, whilst research and innovation spaces and collaborative learning hubs will foster cross-disciplinary learning and industry interaction. Students will also benefit from specialised laboratories, with access to Bloomberg terminals to ensure hands-on learning.
Through these flexible spaces, which enable multiple modes of learning, the new campus aims to offer a truly holistic student experience. Every element of the campus, from innovation hubs to community zones, has been thoughtfully planned to foster creativity, collaboration, and continuous growth.
The University has also opened student recruitment for the inaugural 2026 cohort. Applicants can choose from an initial academic portfolio spanning Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Biomedical Sciences, and, a first for UK campuses in India, Game Design.
The Bengaluru campus will bring Liverpool’s world-class academic and research excellence to India, offering UK-accredited degree programmes that unite global quality with Indian relevance.
The University will also establish a strong research footprint in India, driving fundamental, applied, and industry-led research that addresses shared challenges between the two nations, including sustainability, innovation, digital transformation, and health sciences.
Admissions for the 2026 academic year are now open. More information on programmes, eligibility, and the application process is available at: University of Liverpool India Campus | Admissions Open for 2026
