VESIM Business School, Mumbai to host BASIC 19 – Conference from 13– 17 Feb

Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Management (VESIM) Business School, Mumbai, is hosting the 3rd edition of its iconic international conference–BASIC 19 -Big Data Analytics &Smart Cities International Conference 2019. The theme of this year’s conference will be ‘Data analytics – a way towards disruptive innovation for a dynamic world’. The 5 day conference will be held from 13th – 17th February 2019 at the VESIM campus.

VESIM’s annual flagship event BASIC, which has been conceptualized after taking into account the growing importance of data analytics in every walk of life has evoked good response and interest amongst the students and corporates. The conference will hostanalytics based competitions such as DataQuezt (Coding competition), Research paper presentationsby academicians, Panel discussions on various aspects hitherto untouched so far, series of Expert talk by national and international speakers and a job fair. The interaction between academia and corporate is a wonderful mix and enable the young minds to churn out new ideas and concepts.

Talking about BASIC 19, Dr. Satish Modh, Director, VESIM Business School said, “In order to succeed in the new data environment of disruption due to Big Data, we need to recognize its potential capability. Big data is revolutionizing the current market and forcing people to use newer tools and technologies”.

For this conference, VESIM is supported by SAS and University of Cartagena, Spain as academic partners and College of Delaware State University, USA as knowledge partner.
