Uttarakhand Government has signed a MOU with ConsciousLeap and NFD CEE (Nehru Foundation for Development Centre for Environment Education) to bring ConsciousLeap’s wellbeing curriculum, Wellspire™ to students across its government schools. The MoU to this effect was signed between Banshidhar Tiwari, Samagra Shiksha and Sanjay Desai, Founder and Ceo, ConsciousLeap on June 4.

The program was first piloted for demonstration of its outcome. Seeing it success, the school education authorities decided for a roll out in all government schools. Known for promoting educational efforts since 1966, NFD CEE has also joined forces to support this mission of holistic mental wellbeing for young minds, by bringing their implementation expertise on board.

ConsciousLeap Wellspire™ program is greatly helping our children to think about their personality and strengths in a positive way. This programme is excellent for their emotional and mental development,” said the State Nodal Officer, Samagra Shiksha.

According to State Project Director their approach is to address mental health issues by restricting these through a preventive mental wellbeing curriculum in the education system from age 10. “We want to develop atmanirbhar youth, who can manage their success and wellbeing both, in a holistic manner,” said Mr Tiwari.

Today, young minds have become fragile under constant pressure due to social media and ever-changing life challenges, and have become vulnerable to learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Through Wellspire™, students build foundations of Self-identity and Self-awareness first, work up to nurture life skills, and top up the underframes with a culminating structure to develop aptitude for sustained success and wellbeing. Such an integrated program builds a holistic and sustainable foundation for every student to adopt healthy habits to succeed in the ever-changing, volatile world.

Sanjay Desai, CEO and Founder, ConsciousLeap remarked, “We are honored for this opportunity to address the preventive mental wellbeing need amongst state students, and make a significant impact in their future through our holistic program.”
