Following a rigorous five-month selection process, The Oberoi Group is proud to announce the recipients of its prestigious the Dare to Dream, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi and Be the Best Prithvi Raj Singh Scholarships. This initiative, that honours the legacy of the Group’s visionary founders, recognises outstanding individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to learning, leadership, and service in the hospitality industry.

The selection process for the scholarships spanned five months and included seven comprehensive rounds of assessments, comprising multiple interviews, psychometric evaluations, and personality tests. The scholarships have been awarded to two outstanding candidates who exemplify perseverance, ambition, and an unwavering dedication to the hotel industry.

 

Dare to Dream, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi Scholarship: Ms. Kritika Sharma, Executive Housekeeper, Taj Westend, Bangalore

Be the Best Scholarship, Prithvi Raj Singh Scholarship: Ms. Alisha Rampal, Director, Food & Beverage, Trident, Bandra Kurla, Mumbai

 

Both scholarship recipients will embark on a transformative educational journey, including enrolment in the Master of Hospitality program at EHL Lausanne, Switzerland. This prestigious two-year MBA course integrates virtual learning with an immersive three-week on-campus experience in Lausanne. Additionally, the scholars will undertake an international study tour, experiencing the world’s finest hotels to gain insights into global best practices in hospitality.
