Vadodara-based GSFC University commenced the new academic session with an Orientation Programme, welcoming the incoming batch of undergraduate and postgraduate students along with their parents. The programme introduced students to the University’s values, academic ecosystem, industry-oriented learning approach, and campus life.

The inaugural session was attended by the University’s leadership, faculty members, and administrative officials. Addressing the students, the President of GSFC University, Mr. P. K. Taneja, IAS (Retd.), encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities available at the University. He emphasised that success is built on discipline, integrity, innovation, critical thinking, practical skills, and lifelong learning. He also urged students to understand the University’s vision and leadership, maintain discipline, and actively participate in research, internships, industry engagements, and extracurricular activities.

The Provost, Dr. G. R. Singha, highlighted the University’s commitment to outcome-based education, multidisciplinary learning, and strong industry-academia collaboration. He encouraged students to remain curious, embrace challenges, and leverage the University’s laboratories, innovation ecosystem, and experiential learning opportunities.

Students were introduced to academic programmes, the NEP 2020 framework, research and entrepreneurship opportunities, library resources, student clubs, sports, cultural activities, and career development services. Interactive sessions with faculty members, student mentors, and alumni helped the newcomers familiarise themselves with campus life and begin their academic journey with confidence.
