As early as next 2020 academic session, 500 schools in the country will get the tag of skill hubs on lines of ATL model under SANKALP Project of the ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. Each skill hub will house a laboratory or skills inventory after consultation with local industry to make them locally useful and resourceful. Cluster of nearby schools (5-6) will then also avail the facility to skill their students at these hubs. More details are awaited.
