Rishihood University, Sonipat, announces a webinar series aims at focusing on developing healthy coping mechanisms, instilling a sense of responsibility and acquisition of new skills during the ongoing lockdown. The integrated program is focused on lifelong learning and coping skills especially designed for individuals planning to pursue higher education as well as educators in the field.

The initiative kicks off with a special session hosted byRishi Nityapragya Ji, Director of Programs at the Art of Living Foundation, on the topic of ‘Spirituality in Education’ with the long term objective of devising a “happiness curriculum” for students, parents and faculty. Second session will be driven by Dr. Ali Irani, former chief physiotherapist of the Indian National Cricket team and well known Bollywood stars on how to effectively maintain an active lifestyle despite ongoing lockdown. Future sessions are also planned with Dr. Shrikant Iyengar, Physiotherapist of Indian Hockey Team, Dr. Vishal Rao, Regional Director, Head Neck Surgical Oncology and Robotic Surgery and Associate Dean for Centre of Academic Research at HealthCare Global (HCG) Cancer Centre in Bangalore, amongst others.

Dr. Kamlesh Misra, Vice Chancellor, said “ Our long term vision envisages building the strong foundation and conducive environment in academic areas as well as for overall growth of the nation and society. COVID-19 being as disruptive as it is, has forced us to connect the dots and reconsider the importance of having a visionary outlook, possible only through the overall holistic development of our future talent.”

Sessions will commence from Friday 24th April, 2020 onwards.
