Keeping the safety and security of students on priority, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the national school board of open schooling examinations in India has canceled class 12 examinations. Students will be evaluated based on objective criteria to be announced soon. This will benefit around 1.75 Lakhs students.
In a notification on June 4, NIOS said that practical as well as theory examination scheduled in June has been cancelled. Any student not satisfied with the assessment will be given an option in public examinations or on demand examinations when it becomes conducive to hold such exams.
