Apeejay Stya University announces Admissions for Bachelors in Journalism & Mass Communication

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has announced that admissions are now open for its Bachelors in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) programme, for both, English and Hindi medium.

Eligibility: For this programme, students need to secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 in any discipline. Those students who are going to appear in their final examinations this year may apply for provisional admissions.

All eligible students will have to clear a written test followed by an interview for admission.

Infrastructure and Facilities

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU is equipped with an acoustically-treated TV Studio with an operational teleprompter for recording news bulletins, debates, quiz and interviews. It is further enriched by a radio studio and post-production lab along with the latest photography and videography equipment. The School of Journalism & Mass Communication also runs its internet radio station called Radio Styavani.

The University provides scholarships to meritorious and needy students. It offers placement support in leading media houses, digital media platforms, advertising agencies, public relation agencies, and event management companies, among others.
