NSDC, IRMA sign MoU to boost start-up growth in underserved communities

for Skill India Mission, and Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) have signed a MoU to create conducive environment for accelerated growth of start-ups especially among the underserved communities of rural India through training in professional management skills. The collaboration will also focus on knowledge sharing for technology trends, industry insights, and more, through joint programmes, events and thought leadership sessions, among others. Both NSDC and IRMA will share their networking and technical capabilities for conducting joint research on various topics during this collaboration.

Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer and Officiating CEO, NSDC and Dr. Umakant Dash, Director, IRMA in Anand, Gujarat signed the MoU.

Talking about IRMA’s commitment towards fostering skilling among Indian entrepreneurs, Dr. Umakant Dash, Director, IRMA, said, “We are excited to partner with NSDC that will enable us to play an important part in helping the underserved rise as entrepreneurs through professional management skills. This collaboration will drive our vision of making continuous and significant contributions to the transformation of rural India through innovations in skilling and entrepreneurship.”
