Dr Manjula Pooja Shroff, chairperson of Ahmadabad-based Kalorex Group (esb. 1995 & running several preschools, K-12 schools and a centre for dyslexic children) is a prominent young and independent woman edupreneur and a socialite tracing her lineage to Surangi royals of Odisha. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, York University and London School of Economics & Political Science, the liberating and life changing role of education in her own life, is what has made her a successful champion of education and an inspirational story.

‘Success Mantras and Musings – Edupreneur Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff’ authored by Arunita Rathore Jadeja ( a senior journalist from Ahmadabad)  and launched in New Delhi on August 27 by Jagi Mangat Panda, MD, Odisha Television Network Ltd is a biographical story of Manjula Pooja Shroff or MPS as she is popularly called. The book is published by Vitasta Publishing Pvt Ltd., Delhi. The book has 19 chapters that outline and delve into life learnings of MPS. While all chapters cover different facets of her life, they offer rich experiences, ideas, and examples of living that drive her to excel, nurture young minds, support individual journeys, and encourage faith and self-reliance.

According to Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff a book is a great way to tell a story. “This book brings out elements that haven’t been written yet. It’s even surprising to me that I would have so many facets. I feel very grateful and privileged today that there’s a document of my life. When you are inherently confident, you look at things the way they are. The unique thing about this book is that it brings out my feelings about the past and makes me think about how I started.”

Talking about the ideation of the book, Arunita Rathore Jadeja says: “When I came across Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff, I wanted to know her. She’s someone who can infuse joy and laughter, who’s gone through pain, but not bogged down by all of it. Her wholesome spirit and personality made me want to write this book. I could sense the pain that she’s gone through and as we both come from similar backgrounds. It has been great working with her.”

Jagi Mangat Panda speaking at the release of the book said, ” I’ve seen Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff work hard and reach this place to be one of the most successful women entrepreneurs in the country. I have always propagated that we should take every success story of a woman and put them on a pedestal for thousands of other aspiring women.”
