Aahwahan Foundation, in partnership with BDO Rise Pvt. Ltd., recently released its ‘Happiness Kit Programme’, aimed at supporting more than 10,000 underprivileged children across India with a full year’s supply of study materials and essential school supplies. The programme is designed to significantly ease the financial burden on families by providing each child a complete educational kit containing pencils, pens, colours, geometry boxes, notebooks, tiffin boxes, water bottles, school bags, sweaters, and other essential study. . It aims to reduce dropouts, ensure regular attendance, and long-term academic growth by ensuring that children will not need to buy stationery for a whole year.

This project is being implemented across Karnataka, Hyderabad (Telangana), Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Delhi, West Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, Punjab, and several other states throughout the country. In Hyderabad alone, over 1,000 students will be receiving the Happiness Kits as part of this initiativeitems. By ensuring that children are equipped for an entire academic year, Aahwahan Foundation aims to improve learning continuity, boost classroom participation, and build confidence among young learners.

Speaking about this impactful initiative, Braja Kishore Pradhan CEO & Founder, Aahwahan Foundation shared, “Every child carries a dream in their heart, and no dream should fade because of a lack of basic tools. With each Happiness Kit, we hope to place opportunity directly in the hands of these young minds. Education has the power to break the cycle of poverty, and even a simple set of study essentials can open the door to a brighter, more confident future. It is our responsibility-and our privilege-to ensure that no child is left behind.” He added the Happiness Kit Programme will be run every year and will expand to other cities over the next few years.
