ABWA’s ‘FETE 2024 raises funds for social causes with a unique Fete, Dance Marathon, Art Walk & Auction

The day-long FETE 2024, the annual school event of the Aditya Birla World Academy (ABWA) held on Feb 26, focused on driving social responsibility and community well-being. Under the theme “Touching hearts, Impacting lives,” students’ commitment to social responsibility was showcased through various engaging activities, such as a dance marathon and an art auction organized for fundraising including a FETE organized by parents. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to several NGOs that work with the students closely throughout the year as well as for the school-led CAS and SSR initiatives

ABWA FETE 2024 brought together parents, students, staff and friends for an evening of fun, games, laughter and cheer with the underlying cause – to commitment towards social causes.  A total of over 57 beautiful paintings created by ABWA students were presented for the art auction, while the free-form dance marathon brought together over 500 students, expressing themselves through the activity. The delightful attractions of FETE 2024 were complemented by stalls offering delicious food and exciting games organized on the school premises. ABWA Fete is a prestigious event organized and conducted by parents.

Radhika Sinha, Principal, Aditya Birla World Academy (ABWA), said “Every year, parents are excited to organize the FETE, a fun fair which has received recognition over the years and is an example of ABWA’s dedication towards social responsibility and to give back to the community. The art- walk is a platform that offers a unique opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity and talent. The art auction exhibition proceeds are contributed to noble causes. At ABWA, we recognize the pivotal role that education plays in the nation’s advancement. The success of FETE 2024, including activities such as the art auction and dance marathon, underscores our commitment to imbibing a sense of social responsibility in our students and fostering a well-rounded education system.”
