Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS), a distinguished institution in the realm of education, established in Andrahalli, Bengaluru, in 2008, has been granted autonomous status, a commendation approved by Bangalore University. This recognition is effective from the academic year 2024, marking a significant milestone in ABBS’s journey towards academic excellence, innovation, and high-quality education. The status is valid for a period of 10 years from the academic year 2023-24 to 2033-34 as per clause 7.5 of the UGC (Conferment of Autonomous Status Upon Colleges and Measures for Maintenance of Standards in Autonomous Colleges) Regulations, 2023.

It marks a new chapter in our pursuit of academic innovation and excellence. We are proud to contribute meaningfully to the education landscape. The journey to autonomy reflects our unwavering commitment to academic distinction. We are poised to elevate our educational offerings, aligning them with the evolving needs of the industry.”

Subsequent years witnessed a series of achievements, including UGC 2f recognition in 2014, NBA accreditation for the MBA Department (2014-2016), and International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) accreditation in 2015.

The institution’s commitment to quality education received further acknowledgment with UGC 12B recognition in 2017 and the second cycle of NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation in 2016. The MBA Department continued to excel with the second cycle of NBA Accreditation for the years 2019-21.

In 2023, ABBS reached another pinnacle with the third cycle of NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation, solidifying its reputation for academic excellence and institutional quality.
