Instead of Aug 1, the commencement of classes including for lateral entry to second year courses for newly admitted students will start on Oct 15 while as for existing students except PGDM/PGCM, the classes will begin on Aug 17.  The counseling rounds for admissions will be between Oct 5-15.  Classes for existing PGDM/PGCM begin on July 15.

In a letter the AICTE has written to all approved institutes to follow revised UGC examination and academic calendar guidelines issued on July 6.  “The classes may be started online, offline (classroom) or blended mode following the prescribed protocols /guidelines related to Covid 19”, the letter said while adding, “Institutions who have already started classes as per earlier AICTE calendar, either postpone the classes or conduct special classes for students who would be required to appear in the final year examination of their gradation/diploma.”  Students have to be admitted by Aug 30.
