AISECT launches a free E-Course on Information & Management of COVID-19

Bhopal-based AISECT Group, India’s leading social enterprise that providing skills and ICT based education and services, has launched an e-course on Information & Management of COVID-19.

The prime objective of the course is to build an understanding around COVID-19 and its management. It has been strategically designed and compiled using authentic information sources and would be helpful for people from all walks of life. They will be equipped with the knowledge to play an important role in stopping the spread of this disease in the community and among family members.

The three-hour-long course is divided in 6 self-learning modules, namely Understanding COVID-19, Protection Against Novel Corona Virus, COVID-19 Self Assessment, Quarantine & Isolation, Masks & Sanitizers for COVID-19 and Important Contacts. The modules cover a range of topics such as the origin of the virus, the process of transmission, signs & symptoms to look out for, diagnosis, protective measures, dos and don’ts, home care and precautions, self-check measures, essential steps to be practiced in case of symptoms, understanding quarantine and isolation, setting up an isolation ward, the process of making masks and sanitizers along with corona helpline numbers, websites and Arogya Setu app that one can refer to.

The course will be delivered online wherein reading material is available with engaging illustrations. The learners can go through the modules and attempt the assessment at the end of each module. Following the final assessment quiz, certificates will be provided to the learners.

Keeping the ease of access in mind, the course has been made available in both English and Hindi and in very simple language so that a larger group of people can be benefitted by the information.
