AISECT, India’s leading social enterprise in higher education and skill development, in collaboration with Rabindranath Tagore University and Scope Global Skills University, officially launched the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Mission on 15 Oct at the SCOPE Global Skills University campus.

Launched alongside the Kaushal Vikas Yatra, the mission will be delivered nationwide through specially designed Kaushal Raths—mobile skill labs that will travel across villages and cities. These raths will introduce youth to future technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) through educational content, live demos, and expert guidance.

Each Kaushal Rath will host:

  • Free AI seminars and workshops
  • Career counselling sessions
  • Technical demonstrations
  • Expert-led discussions on AI’s role in career development and national progress

Key Training Components of the Mission:

  • AI Entrepreneurship: Incubation and accelerator programs for startups
  • AI Innovation Challenge: Competitions and awards for youth-led innovations
  • AI Content Creation: Training in digital and media tools
  • AI for Governance: AI-driven solutions for public welfare
  • Industry-Aligned Training: Practical skills for immediate employability

Academic Integration and Faculty Development

Partnerships with educational institutions are central to the mission. AI literacy programs will be introduced in schools and colleges, and all AISECT Skill Knowledge Providers (SKPs) and franchise centers will host a minimum of 10 free AI seminars. To ensure consistent quality, teachers and SKPs will undergo specialized online training, enabling uniform delivery of AI education across the country.

According to Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor, Scope Global Skills University, the mission is a national movement—not just for technical training, but for igniting innovation, entrepreneurship, and future readiness among youth. He highlighted that the initiative aligns with the Skill India Mission and NITI Aayog’s AI Roadmap, which positions AI as a central pillar in achieving the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. He stressed the need for integrating AI courses at academic levels, establishing AI and data labs in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, and accelerating AI adoption in agriculture, healthcare, and education.

The ambitious initiative was inaugurated alongside the release of the book “Kritrim Buddhimatta – Kritrim Nahin, Asli Kranti” (Artificial Intelligence – Not Artificial, but a Real Revolution), authored by Mr. Santosh Shukla and published by AISECT Publications. The event also featured the unveiling of the official campaign poster.

The launch ceremony was graced by prominent dignitaries including Mr. Santosh Choubey (Chairman, AISECT), Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi (Chancellor, Scope Global Skills University), Dr. Vijay Singh (Vice Chancellor, SCOPE Global Skills University), Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha (Registrar, SCOPE Global Skills University), Mr. Raghu Pandey (A.I. Expert), Mr. Santosh Shukla (Author), Mr. Mahip Nigam (Senior Manager, AISECT Publications), and Mrs. Jyoti Raghuwanshi (Manager, AISECT Publications).

Driving AI Literacy to the Grassroots

Santosh Choubey, Chairman, AISECT Group, reflected on the early days of IT education and the need for quality literature on AI. He proposed the creation of an AI Literature Database to enrich learning resources and announced that the mission aims to train 10 million youth in AI education, research, and entrepreneurship by 2030.
