Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka holds convocation for 2016-18 and 2017-19 batches

Apeejay School of Management, New Delhi (esb 1993), one of the top ranking private B-schools in India offering three PGDMs in Management, Marketing and International Business, on February 28 held its  20th convocation ceremony for 2016-18 and 2017-19 batches at its Dwrka campus. In all 315 graduands (156 from 2016-18 and 159 from 2017-19 batches) received their diplomas at an impressive ceremony with Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, union minister of minority affairs, as the chief guest. Eleven students received medals for their outstanding academic performance from the minister.

Aditya Berlia, Co-founder and Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Member of the Board of Governors, Apeejay School of Management, presided over the convocation and conferred the diplomas. In his convocational address, minister Naqvi while congratulating the graduands reminded them of the tough real world challenges. He encouraged the graduating students to join the bandwagon of new India as co-travellers in re-establishing the pristine glory of the country by revitalizing the heritage and leveraging contemporary technologies for prosperity of all while remaining rooted in Indian ethos.   

Aditya Berlia in his address advised the graduating students to seek help both in their personal and professional lives, form their own opinion, develop capability of looking at original sources of information, work on strengths rather than covering weaknesses, and take responsibility of life-long learning in order to accomplish lasting success, prosperity and happiness. He also administered oath on ethical conduct in Management taken by the graduating students.  

O P Khanduja, Executive Director, Apeejay School of Management, observed that success is the sum of small efforts. He shared the forward looking and progressive vision of the institute and talked about the initiatives to make the students industry ready.  Earlier, Dr Amit Sareen, Director, ASM welcomed the guests and presented report on the institute.
