The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) is participating in nine skills at the WorldSkills Competition 2024 following the recent inauguration ceremony of India Skills 2024 held in New Delhi. ASDC, showcased its strong commitment to nurturing young talents in cutting-edge technologies, including Robotics System Integration. From an impressive pool of 419 applicants in this category, only 24 finalists have been selected to form 12 dynamic teams, each vying for the chance to represent India at WorldSkills Lyon, France in 2024.

The partnership with FANUC India for the Robotics System Integration skill has been a cornerstone of this initiative. FANUC India has provided support by offering state-of-the-art facilities, test projects, and guidance.

FR Singhvi, President of ASDC, expressing his enthusiasm said, “Despite all the work that we are doing, very less is known to the people. The collaboration with FANUC India marks a pivotal step in our mission to aware and equip India’s youth with future-ready skills. Robotics and automation are not just tools but essential skills that will drive our industry forward. It is imperative that we continue to invest in our young talents, providing them with platforms to shine on the world stage.” said Mr. Singhvi. He further added, “At ASDC, we were also delighted to facilitate a visit for the robotics integration candidates to the Sansera Robotics plant in Bangalore, thanks to the support of Fanuc, providing an enriching and informative experience”
