BGS Vijnatham School celebrates ‘Chanakya’ themed Annual Day in presence of HH Jagadguru Sri Dr. Nirmalananda Natha Mahaswamiji & AICTE chairman Prof Sitharam

The BGS Vijnatham School, situated in Greater Noida (West) recently celebrated its annual day with an interesting theme around Chanakya, the renowned Indian strategist and philosopher who assisted the first Mauryan emperor Chandragupta in his rise to power and the establishment of the Maurya Empire besides authoring the ancient Indian politico-economic treatise Arthashastra.

His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Dr. Nirmalananda Natha Mahaswamiji, with Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, attended as the Chief Guests. The event was thoughtfully rolled out paying tribute to timeless wisdom and values of Chanakya.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, highlighted by a captivating dance drama on the life and teachings of Chanakya, along with a group song and energetic dance performances. The Grade 10 toppers were felicitated and the students with 100% attendance in 2024–25 were also honoured.

Several eminent dignitaries, including Parampujya Paramatmananda Saraswati Swamiji, Founder-Acharya of Arsha Vidya Mandir, Rajkot (Gujarat), Sri Ananda Chaitanyanath Swamiji, Dr. N. S. Reddy, Chief Administrative Officer of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust and BGS Group of Institutions and Mrs. Prerna Singh, IAS, ACEO, Greater Noida Authority witnessed the event performances in presence of Managing Committee Members Dr. Srinivas Surendra and Mr. Tejveer Maan.

Addressing the gathering, Jagadguru praised the students’ performances and urged them to embrace Chanakya’s values of hard work, dedication and integrityParampujya Paramatmananda Saraswati Swamiji shared his wisdom and blessings, inspiring the students to strive for excellence, while other dignitaries also extended their blessings and words of encouragement.
