The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) having decided to conduct class 10 and Class 12 examinations in two terms, has announce that it will conduct the Class 10 and Class 12 term 2 examinations in offline mode from April 26, 2022. In a notification issued on Feb 9, the board further said that the date sheet for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 term 2 examinations will be released soon on the official website of board at cbse.nic.in.
The first term board examination consisting of multiple choice objective questions was held in December and January 2021. The exam used scannable optical mark recognition (OMR) answer sheets. In contrast, the second term will be traditional subjective type (pen-paper descriptive answers) of two-hour duration.
With reopening of schools, conducting exams in April end has been welcomed by schools as well as students as they will get enough face to face revision and preparation time with their class teachers.
