No problem is too big… No idea is too small is the theme

Registrations for the 5th edition of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022 are open till 31st March.  For the first time, SIH Junior has been added to the national Hackathon  by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell with AICTE and other partners. Now school students from 6th to 12th class will also be able to showcase their talent and generate out-of-the-box open innovation ideas. The SIH senior is open to degree, post-graduate and PhD students.

SIH 2022 has hardware as well as software edition and is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. The problem statements for 2022 are live on https://sih.gov.in/sih2022PS.

College SPOC (Single Point of Contact) responsible to conduct internal hackathon in the campus College will finalise total best 5 teams + 2 waitlisted teams from the internal hackathon. SPOC is to recommend the selected teams for SIH 2022 Software edition at SIH portal. Out of the 5 selected teams per college, 4 can be chosen from blocked PSs & 1 can be chosen for Student Innovation category
