CBSE declares class 10 & 12 results

The result of classes 10 & 12 examination 2022-23 conducted by CBSE has been declared on May 12. This year pass percentage of students in class X is 93.12% which better than pre-covid percentage of 91.10% in 2019.  For class 12, also it has increased to 87.33% from 83.40% in 2019. The board has decided not to declare merit lists or award first, second or third divisions to avoid unhealthy competition. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1% students who have top scored in the subjects.

School-wise result will also be emailed to schools. Class X students will be allowed to take improve their performance in two subjects in supplementary examination to be conducted in July 2023.

A total of 3882834 students from both classes registered for the exams from 28471 schools spread in 26 countries with bulk of them nationally in India. The board has also said that 2024 examination will be held from February 15, 2024.

She said that the introduction of competency & Case study based logical reasoning based questions, questions which asked for concept clarity and application, and the Schools were concerned with that, but the students have out performed themselves. “At Manav Rachna we have 100% results with excellent performance in all subjects across all branches.” The amazing results throughout the country are a testament of the hard work put in by the students and the dedicated efforts of the teachers.

As we all know that the Grade XII of this session appeared for the Annual  Public Exam for the first time in their school life, students were more concerned as they did not take the Grade X Annual exam which acts like a preparatory ground for the defining Grade XII examinations. So this was special for this crop of students everywhere.
