Coforge, an AI-native engineering services leader, inaugurated The Coforge Public Library at Vasant Square Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, on 5 June 2026. This is the company’s fourth public library in India and its third in the Delhi-NCR region. The Coforge Public Library is the company’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The library was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, along with Sudhir Singh, CEO and Executive Director, Coforge, in the presence of members of the local community, educationists, senior citizens, youth, and children.

The Coforge Public Library at Vasant Kunj offers a 10,000 sq. ft. reading space and a curated collection of more than 15,000 titles across popular genres, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s literature, self-help, business, spirituality, art, technology, photography, and poetry in both English and Hindi. The collection features books from leading international publishers such as Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Pan Macmillan, and Simon & Schuster, as well as Indian publishers including Karadi Tales, Amar Chitra Katha, Eklavya, Ektara, and Adidev. The library also includes a dedicated children’s zone where young readers can enjoy read-aloud sessions and discover the joy of books. Visitors can locate titles through digital terminals or seek assistance from the library staff. Entry and reading are completely free, and visitors may also borrow books to read at home by paying a fully refundable fee.

Access to well-equipped reading spaces and quality learning resources remains limited in many parts of India. The Coforge Public Library initiative seeks to bridge this gap by creating a free, inclusive, and welcoming environment for readers from all walks of life, regardless of age, background, or economic status. The initiative supports India’s broader goals of literacy, lifelong learning, and community development.

Located on the first floor of Vasant Square Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, the library has a seating capacity of 170 people and is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 365 days a year. It is strategically positioned to serve the densely populated neighbourhoods of Vasant Kunj and surrounding areas, including Masoodpur, Mahipalpur, Rangpuri, Kishangarh, and Chattarpur.

The first Coforge Public Library was inaugurated in Noida in February 2024, followed by the second in Gurugram in June 2025 and the third in Hyderabad in October 2025. Coforge plans to continue expanding this network of free public libraries across India, with an immediate focus on Delhi-NCR and Hyderabad.
