Meenakshi Kachroo Chatta, Senior Director & Regional Head at College Board, had this to say about SAT for Indian students. She states, “The SAT is a crucial steppingstone for students aspiring to study at prestigious universities worldwide. The importance of standardized tests in predicting academic success has led esteemed institutions like Yale, Dartmouth, Harvard, and Stanford to reinstate the SAT score as a requirement for admissions. With more frequent administrations and over 100 centers in India, the SAT offers increased opportunities for students to achieve their academic goals. The transition to a digital format enhances the testing experience by making it more personalized and student-friendly, reflecting our commitment to prioritizing students’ needs. The SAT not only opens doors to higher education but also plays a significant role in boosting students’ academic and professional careers. To fully capitalize on these opportunities, timely registration is essential, as it ensures students have adequate time to prepare. The College Board is deeply committed to supporting students in their educational journey by providing the necessary resources and guidance.”
