After multiple rounds of fast-paced, high-energy quizzing, Sashreek Satapathy and Nilesh Nagarajan Suba from Delhi Public School, Vadodara, emerged as the winners of the Tata InQuizitive 2025 Ahmedabad edition on Nov 18. Their composure, depth of knowledge, and analytical sharpness set them apart in a gripping finale. The winning team will now represent the region at the National Finals, where they will compete against top teams from across India for the title of TCS InQuizitive 2025 Champions.

This edition witnessed significant participation, with 165 teams from 35 schools, involving 330 talented young individuals from Ahmedabad and nearby cities such as Anand, Botad, Gandhinagar, Patan, Rajkot, Surat, Surendranagar, Vadodara, and other districts, making it a vibrant regional celebration of youthful talent.

The event was graced by Dr. Narottam Sahoo, Advisor and Member Secretary at the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, who attended as the Chief Guest, along with Ms. Namrata Somani, TCS Regional Head, Gujarat, who represented Tata Consultancy Services.

Ms. Namrata Somani, TCS Regional Head, Gujarat, said, “TCS InQuizitive celebrates the spirit of curiosity and critical thinking. Curiosity is the spark that drives innovation and progress— it pushes us to ask questions, explore possibilities, and challenge the status quo. In an era shaped by AI, data, and emerging technologies, critical thinking is the foundation for innovation. We deeply appreciate the enthusiastic participation of students from Gujarat schools. Their energy, curiosity, and willingness to learn reflect the bright future of our nation.”

TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative that has been inspiring young minds for over two decades. Introduced with the aim to spark curiosity and expand awareness among students from Grades 8 to 12, it covers diverse fields, including information technology, science, sports, engineering and art. The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The competition will culminate in a semi-final and grand finale, where one school will be crowned the TCS InQuizitive National Champions of 2025.
