Delhi Public School:Bopal , Ahmedabad, has secured the First Rank in the Overall Category at the District Level Saksham Shala Awards 2024-25, marking another significant milestone in its journey of excellence. The honour was conferred during the District and Taluka Level Award Ceremony organized by DPEO Ahmedabad Rural and presented by The District Development Officer (DDO) and District Education Officer(DEO), Ahmedabad recently.

Under the Saksham Shala Programme, schools are assessed on parameters such as health, hygiene, sanitation, air quality, green initiatives, energy conservation, climate responsiveness, disaster preparedness, child protection, behavioural change, and capacity building. DPS-Bopal excelled across these dimensions with its holistic approach that blends academic rigor with sustainable practices.

Principal Ms. Sabina Sawhney received the award and a cheque of ₹31,000 on behalf of the school, acknowledging DPS-Bopal’s exemplary initiatives in fostering a Green, Clean, Safe, Sustainable and Child-Centric School. She remarked that the achievement was a testament to the tireless efforts of the students, staff, and the unwavering support of the parent community. She emphasized that the recognition further strengthened the school’s vision of nurturing lifelong learners, compassionate leaders, and environmentally responsible citizens.
