The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore announces a new digital learning initiative – Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) based online certificate series – titled ‘Fundamentals of Business Management.’ The high quality six-course series, which will have Hindi transcripts as well,
is open for enrollment now. IIMB Director Dr. Sushil Vachani said, “Our MOOCs programme, especially the Fundamentals of Business Management, will bring high quality management education and a lifelong learning opportunity for many who would otherwise have been unable to access a top management school.”
These MOOCs will be delivered through the edX platform over the next few months and will offer learners the opportunity to study management concepts from highly rated IIM faculty in a completely open, online mode. To increase the reach of these courses IIMB will also make these courses available in Hindi. All six MOOCs are open for enrollment and will be offered in a sequential manner over the next several months.
