GSFC University has signed six strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading industry, research, and government organisations during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) 2026. Six MoUs were signed with Farmson Basic Drugs Pvt. Ltd., Nandesari (Vadodara); Indus Fire Safety (Vadodara); Alkem Laboratories Ltd. (Mumbai); Vasu Research Centre (Vadodara); the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Government of Gujarat; and the ICMR–National Institute of Occupational Health Research (ICMR-NIOHR), (Ahmedabad).
These partnerships will enable greater interaction between academia and industry while creating pathways for applied research, technology transfer, product innovation, professional training, and employment-oriented education. They will also strengthen the University’s start-up and incubation ecosystem by supporting innovation-led ventures, promoting entrepreneurial thinking among students and faculty, facilitating mentoring, and enabling access to government-supported entrepreneurship programmes.
The collaboration with ICMR-NIOHR will strengthen GSFC University’s B.Tech. Fire & EHS programme through expert sessions, workshops, and joint knowledge development initiatives. Students will benefit from internships, dissertations, and field research opportunities mentored by ICMR-NIOHR scientists, gaining exposure to real-world occupational health challenges across sectors such as mining, ship recycling, and industrial worker safety. This will enable enhanced curriculum inputs, certifications, and access to advanced research expertise and facilities.
Collectively, these MoUs will provide enhanced opportunities for experiential learning, industrial exposure, research association, and innovation, while advancing GSFC University’s vision of developing future-ready professionals through strong institutional linkages.
