Lucknow-base Institute for Career Studies (ICS), on Aug 15 launched ICS Career GPS, a mobile app to offer expert career counseling to youngsters across the country especially in small cities and towns. This app empowers both students and parents by providing them the much-needed authentic information and helping them make informed choices.

The ICS Career GPS guide users get the latest information about campuses (worldwide), courses, eligibility criteria, emerging trends and career paths. The user can also opt for a personalized career counseling session, which is free as of now owing to the Covid scenario.

Dr Amrita Dass, Founder-Director, ICS, and a leading educationist and career consultant, said, “In the 35 years of my counseling experience, I have found that the ideal approach to move from confusion to clarity and make informed educational and career decisions is to know yourself, inform yourself and plan for yourself. The ICS Career GPS handholds students as well as professionals, through these easy and essential steps to bring instant career clarity.”

The expansion of ICS Education Ltd. into app comes in wake of  company having raised USD 320,000 (about Rs 2.45 crore) in funding from an angel investor, Rishi Bagla – promoter of Bagla Group. This strategic partnership is keeping in view geographical expansion and entering new markets by directly taking its robust counseling and guidance services to millions of students and parents across the globe.
