IIT Mandi calls applications for short-term certificate programs in Machine Learning and IoT-based Automation

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) is set to launch multiple training programs from 15th January 2024. These free of cost programs aim to provide valuable skills and knowledge to participants, fostering professional development and contributing to the overall advancement of education and vocational training in the region.

The courses are open to Engineering, BCA, MCA, ITI, Polytechnic, Teachers, Trainers and Working Professionals. The duration of the course will be one month. The registration for these free offline courses have already started and will continue till 12th January 2024.

The focus of these programs will be on soft skills, English speaking, interview preparation, personality development, group discussions, entrepreneurship skills, and startup support will be provided for holistic development and career success of the candidates.

Certification in Machine Learning Program

In this certification program, the student will learn Mathematical Foundations, Python Programming, Statistical Foundations and Visualization Data, Visualization and Pre-processing Machine, Learning and Applications and others areas.

Certification in Internet of Things based Automation Program

In this training program, candidates will be given domain sessions on Python Programming, Android Application Development, Web Development, Computer Vision, and over 10 IOT Projects.

These elements will help the candidates not only learning theoretical concepts but are also gaining practical skills that are directly applicable in the industry. The combination of programming, application development, web development, and hands-on lab sessions prepares them for a diverse set of challenges they may encounter in the IoT field.
