Mindseed launches ‘Foundree’ preschools in Maharashtra

Mumbai-based  Mindseed Preschools has launched a new chain of Foundree Preschools & Daycare centers across Maharashtra. The new chain of schools has opened 7 centers across Mumbai & Pune, with schools in Chembur, Thane, Kamothe, Ghansoli, and Airoli in the Mumbai region & Baner and Pimple Saudagar in Pune region.

” Foundree is a thoughtful addition to Mindseed pre-schools’ existing pre-primary education pattern, born out of a hope to lay a strong foundation for the child and catalyse the learning process during this early stage of life” said Prasad Dhumal, Co-founder of Foundree & Mindseed Preschools.

The birth of Foundree was planned with an objective to cater to this distinct, aspirational, discerning, and involved parent. The world at Foundree is built around a very clear philosophy of personalised learning. With the intention of bringing practicality in education, Foundree Preschool offers Integrated full-day and half-day programs, designed with a skill-based curriculum, that is flexible enough to incorporate each child’s individual strengths, with a focus on new-age skills such as communication, critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.

Adding to the list of innovations, Foundree has also come up with ‘an imaginative environment’ in their preschools, where they have dual courtyards for kids to learn through play, minimalist walls to reduce cues and build imagination, and skill-based classrooms to focus on building strong foundational skills of the little ones. There are no age-based rooms at all! In fact, all rooms are named after the zones contained in them (The Stage, The Nook, The Studio etc).  The structure of the day ensures that all children, regardless of their age get to visit all the zones – such as for Listening & Speaking, Storytelling, Reading, Writing, Early Math, Science, Makerspace, Pretend Play, Coding, Music and Art. Instead of keeping our children inside a bubble, they have designed a safe space for our kids to explore their curiosity and their physical abilities as well, in this we are very much like a European kindergarten.

At Foundree Daycare, the tiny tots would learn, participate in activities, get some rest, and play in their free time at their Foundree home during the day. For children who stay throughout the day (daycare), there are skill-based learning programs in the evening as well, giving them more time and exposure to build different skills. In addition, different centres offer Dance and Martial Arts, Chess, Theatre, Indian Classical or Western Classical Music, Robotics, Coding and similar skill-based sessions, to be chosen by the child according to his or her interest.
