Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi-NCR, becomes first collaborator for programmes aimed to equip the next generation of leaders
Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, is set to launch two summer school programmes for undergraduate students in Summer 2025, focusing on Sustainability & Climate Change and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. These programmes, which will each be one-week long, aim to equip young minds with the tools and insights needed to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi-NCR, has become the first collaborator for this pioneering initiative, marking a significant step in fostering cross-border educational partnerships and opportunities. The collaboration was formalised today with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the THE Innovation and Impact Summit in Delhi.
The role of youth in tackling critical global issues like climate change, sustainability, and innovation cannot be overstated. The Sustainability & Climate Change Programme will immerse students in cutting-edge discussions and activities focused on renewable energy, circular economy models, and sustainable leadership practices, helping them design innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme will empower students to think creatively and strategically about building enterprises that address societal needs. From ideation to execution, participants will explore frameworks for driving innovation and creating impactful businesses in a rapidly evolving global economy.
Highlighting the significance of these programmes, Josephine Fawkes, Director of Global Inclusion and Youth Education at Saïd Business School, said:
“These programmes reflect Saïd Business School’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders equipped to address global challenges. Our collaboration with Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence is an exciting step in bringing this vision to life, combining Oxford Saïd’s academic excellence with a shared dedication to empowering young changemakers.”
Prof. Ananya Mukherjee, Vice-Chancellor of Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, added: “This partnership exemplifies our mission to provide transformative global learning experiences. Collaborating with Saïd Business School allows us to contribute to programmes that foster innovation, sustainability, and leadership, preparing students to make meaningful contributions to society.”
Both programmes will take place at Oxford Saïd Business School offering students access to Oxford’s esteemed faculty, state-of-the-art resources, and an environment designed for collaboration and intellectual growth. The curriculum will include interactive workshops, thought-provoking lectures, and group projects, providing a comprehensive and engaging educational experience.
