Parul University signs license agreement with Springer Nature

Vadodara-based Parul University a multidisciplinary institution has signed a License Agreement with Springer Nature, a global leader in academic and professional publishing. This partnership will position Parul University as one of the pioneering universities from the state of Gujarat to make important research data available to the public without restrictions. This collaboration also stands as a defining milestone in the university’s journey toward becoming a hub of innovation, knowledge exchange, and global academic engagement.

Under the signed Framework of Agreement (FoA), faculty members and researchers at Parul University will gain enhanced access to Springer Nature’s expansive digital repository of journals, books, and scientific resources. The partnership also encompasses training workshops and expert publishing guidance to amplify the visibility and reach of research output. Furthermore, it offers Open Access (OA) publishing opportunities in prestigious journals such as BMC, Springer Open, Nature Research, and Palgrave Macmillan. With Article Processing Charges (APCs) covered under a consolidated annual payment model and a 40% discount, Parul University is removing financial barriers and empowering more researchers to share their work on a global scale.

The agreement was formally signed in the presence of Mr. Reghu Kuttappan, Senior Licensing Manager – West and Mr. Vinay Joshi, Account Manager, Institutional Sales. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi, Managing Director of Springer Nature India, and Dr. Geetika Madan Patel, Vice President (Quality, Research & Health Sciences) & Medical Director of Parul University.  Together, this strategic collaboration aims to create a comprehensive platform for knowledge sharing, research dissemination, and impactful academic publishing.
