The formal investiture ceremony of the student council of the Ramagya School, Sector 50, Noida was held on Aug 14 in which each leader was ceremoniously presented with their badge of office. The designated roles included President, Vice President, Cultural Affairs Minister, Education Minister, Student Council, Safety & Security Minister, Sports, Health & Fitness Minister, Student Moderator, Science & Technology Minister, School Ambassador, House Captain, and Deputy House Captain. As each student stepped forward to receive their badge, the atmosphere was charged with a sense of pride and responsibility.

The young leaders, dressed immaculately in their school uniforms, stood tall as they took their oaths, pledging to uphold the values and ethos of Ramagya School and to lead their peers with integrity, dedication, and a spirit of service.

“The Investiture Ceremony is more than just a formal event; it is a celebration of leadership and the spirit of service that is deeply embedded in the culture of Ramagya School. The newly appointed leaders are not just tasked with responsibilities; they are entrusted with the mission of being role models, guiding their peers, and contributing to a positive and productive school environment. This event serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of leadership in shaping the future, not just within the school but in the wider community,” said the school release.

Gracing the ceremony as the Chief Guest was senior India Today TV journalist Shiv Aroor, whose presence was about talk on insightful journalism and bestselling literary works. He was an inspiration for the young leaders. Drawing from his illustrious career in journalism and his deep insights into the stories of bravery and resilience he has chronicled, Mr. Aroor urged the young leaders to embrace their roles with a sense of responsibility and purpose. He shared anecdotes from his bestselling book, “India’s Most Fearless 1: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes,” which resonated deeply with the audience. The book, a powerful collection of true stories about India’s military heroes, served as a poignant reminder of the values of courage, integrity, and service – qualities that every leader should strive to embody.

Following his address, Mr. Aroor graciously engaged with the students, answering their questions and offering advice on how to navigate the challenges of leadership. He also signed pre-booked copies of his acclaimed book, leaving the young leaders with a tangible memento of this momentous day.
