Taking the total number of SIC-certified students in Uttar Pradesh to 4,900, Samsung, electronics brand, recently certified 1,000 students in Coding & Programming, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) under Samsung Innovation Campus.
The 1,000-strong cohort comprises students from three key institutions in Uttar Pradesh: Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, Government Girls’ Polytechnic, and Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Divyangjan. Spanning three high-demand disciplines, the programme trained 600 students in AI, 300 in coding and programming, and 100 in IoT.
“India’s economic ambitions in the technology sector will ultimately be defined by how many young people are equipped with the right skills at the right time. These students from Samsung Innovation Campus represent a clear commitment to ensuring that Uttar Pradesh’s young talent participates in, and shapes, the global digital economy. The programme continues to expand its reach, with a target of training 20,000 youth across the country, reinforcing the company’s view that inclusive access to future-ready education is not peripheral to India’s growth story—it is central to it.
