Applications for Round 2 are now open; last date to apply is 25th October, 2016

Each year, Teach for India selects outstanding graduates and young professionals through a rigorous selection process. The Fellows commit full-time for two years to teach underprivileged children across seven cities in India. As of 2016, the program has recruited Fellows from more than 300 colleges and 500 corporates.

“Teach for India’s singular aim is to build a movement of leaders who take the initiative to eliminate education inequality in India.  Fellows in this program are given the opportunity to learn as they teach; the two years they spend in the classroom gives them the opportunity to develop skills such as organization, communication, problem-solving in an unstructured environment, people management and resourcefulness. These leadership skills are transferable and are valuable in any sector,” Shaheen Mistri, CEO, Teach for India, said.

The deadline to apply for Round 2 of the 2017 Fellowship is 25th October, 2016. To apply, please visit: www.teachforindia.org
