UGC promotes Azadi Quest Games—Match 3 Puzzle & Heroes of Bharat

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has launched ‘Azadi Quest’ a series of online games to engage citizens of all age groups as part of a unique initiative.  Of these two games Match 3 Puzzle & Heroes of Bharat  (in English & Hindi)focus on the story of India’s freedom struggle, highlighting key milestones and heroes, interwoven with fun gameplay.

These games seek to entertain, engage and educate players and users. The concept of ‘Gamification of Education’, will serve as an important educational tool to learn about India’s freedom struggle for students and youth of all age groups, as well as parents and teachers.

UGC has written to all universities : “All the Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and their affiliated colleges/institutions are requested to disseminate the information and encourage all the students, parents and teachers to download these games as an educational initiative.”

More information about the games, key features and steps for downloading the games on mobile phones is available in the ‘Azadi Quest’ brochure . These Games may also be downloaded via # link https://mib.gov.in/commonpages/azadi-quest-games. The Games are also available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
