University Living,  a marketplace for student accommodation, on Dec  21 announced that it has partnered with  Emirates and Etihad, as well as other travel and flights service providers MakeMyTrip, Thomas Cook, and Skyscanner to provide Indian students with unmatched discounts and special offers as they embark on their journey to study abroad.

The partnerships between University Living and these industry giants comes at a time when the outbound student market is experiencing tremendous growth. According to the ‘Indian Student Mobility report 2023’ launched by University Living earlier this year, an estimated 1.3 million Indian students will pursue their studies abroad by the end of 2023, with 58% of these students seeking higher education in countries like Canada, US, UK, and Australia. Additionally, emerging destinations such as Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Ireland, Singapore, Dubai and New Zealand are gaining popularity among Indian students. As the demand for international education continues to rise, University Living’s partnership with Emirates, Etihad, MakeMyTrip, Thomas Cook, and Skyscanner demonstrates a shared commitment to supporting Indian students on their journey to success.

Emirates and Etihad Airlines, with their extensive network of international destinations, will play a pivotal role in facilitating Indian students’ travel plans. MakeMyTrip, Thomas Cook, and Skyscanner, as leading travel service providers, will offer a seamless booking experience and additional discounts to ensure that students have access to a wide range of benefits, including discounted airfare, travel packages, personalized and priority support through University Living’s platform.

Thomas Cook has extended priority services to Indian students applying from UL platform for the Study Buddy card. The key benefits will include free International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Free global SIM card, Free ATM withdrawal once a month and surcharge free withdrawals at All Point ATMs in US, Canada, Mexico, UK and Australia.  Similarly, MakeMyTrip offers exclusive discount codes to Indian students booking from University Living platform.

For more information about the exclusive discounts and offers available through this partnership, please visit University Living’s website or download the app.

Saurabh Arora, Founder & CEO, University Living, announcing this said, “We are excited to collaborate with Emirates, Etihad, MakeMyTrip, Thomas Cook, and Skyscanner to offer exclusive benefits to Indian students pursuing education abroad. This partnership reflects our commitment to enhancing the overall student experience and making their journey as seamless as possible. By providing special discounts and offers, we aim to ease the financial burden on students and their families as they embark to fulfil their potential.”
