Mumbai’s Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy has been awarded A+ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for 05 years. With a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.46, VES College of Pharmacy joins the league of colleges accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC in its very first cycle. VES College of Pharmacy has already been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for the B. Pharma program until 2022, based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practiced at the college.

“This honor is the result of years of hard work by our students, faculty and support staff under the guidance of VES management and trustee, Shri B L Boolani. The college is committed to offering quality education to all its students and the accreditation by NAAC reassures this fact. The college has been leveraging a choice-based academic model,  add on courses, workshops, industry interactions, experiential and participative learning platforms for curriculum enrichment  that allows students to learn in their respective disciplines while also providing a transparent and continuous evaluation process that aids in their holistic development,” said, Dr. Supriya Shidhaye, Principal, VES College of Pharmacy.

The NAAC Peer Team visited the college on 25th& 26th May 2022 and rigorously evaluated it across multiple parameters which include the college’s infrastructure, management, faculty, student contributions, teaching-learning process, institutional values, and best practices. Pertinent to note that 70% of the assessment is based on data submitted by the institution and evaluated by a third party, making the process even more stringent.

VES College of Pharmacy is completing 15 years of its existence and currently has more than 500 students on campus. studying B Pharm ,  M Pharm and Ph D programmes in various specialisations  on campus. VES also is recognised as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by DSIR, Government of India. With recognition under section 2(f)  and 12(B) of  the UGC Act ,1956, VES college of pharmacy aspires to be an autonomous college. For more info website : https://vespharmacy.ves.ac.in/
