The QKnit along with SIES College Department of
Mass Media and Gender Sensitization Cell (Sion) will be hosting Anubhav 20 as a part of Queer Azaadi Mumbai –
‘Mumbai Pride 2020’. This event will be held at SIES College premises on
the 11th of January 2020. The theme for this year will be ‘Fluid Future ’.
Anubhav as a Youth Festival is a space that explores the power of art to
inspire, respect, and recognize people across gender and sexual norms. Their
aim is to encourage creative minds and incite creative collaboration and
experimentation to celebrate art.
“With Belief that the future ahead is gender fluid. If we want to make this
world a better place for all, it’s necessary to think beyond the gender binary”
Said Sumit Pawar, Founder of The Qknit. To take a step closer to support this
fluidity and to provide a safe space for individuals to express oneself,
Anubhav 20’s official theme for this year is ‘Fluid Future’ with their tagline being “let’s all come together to
celebrate ‘us’ ”.
This annual youth festival is open
