Youth4Nation Maharastra Chapter launched

‘Youth4Nation’, a nationwide initiative to connect with the youth in colleges and universities, launched its Maharashtra Chapter on January 23 at the hands of Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The launch date of Youth4Nation Maharashtra chapter coincides with the birthday of Iconic freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, a youth icon too. Also January 24 is the International Day of Education.

Launched in Oct 2021, Youth4Nation is planning having its Chapter in every State and Union Territory. Chapters in Assam, Gujarat, and, Haryana have been already set up.

Youth4Nation as platform interacts at college/university levels. Normally, the institution concerned deputes a Coordinator who fixes up a programme or two in consultation with Youth4Nation. The Forum arranges an appropriate speaker/speakers as part of the “Mera Bharat Mahaan” series of lectures.

Professor G.S. Murthy, Chief National Coordinator of Youth4Nation said, “Youth being the most productive period of one’s life and it is important for them in shaping their future as well as the future of the society they live in. Our activities are focused in motivating the youth to be inspired by national spirit and enabling them to play a greater role in transforming Bharat as a leader of the world community.”   

Sharing his thoughts on National Security, Lt. Gen. V.K. Chaturvedi, PVSM, AVSM, SM (Retd), Chief National Coordinator of Youth4Nation, said, “During challenging times, it has always been the youth of our Nation that has risen to the occasion. Today’s generation needs to channelize the youth power, towards emerging opportunities and reap the benefits, thus making India even stronger and glorious.”
